Well, she is a dumb female genitalia but I still agree with her that getting vaccinated is a personal decision (especially if you're young and healthy). I mean, we're 85% vaccinated and still on lockdown...I doubt it's the last 15%'s fault even though they have more chance of getting hospitalized.

Well doubled dosed in Quebec as of this morning are at 78 %, so 22% yes is still too high

So yes 15 times less chance to be hospitalised if you are vaccinated, but also I think it was 4-5 less propagation if double dosed, as your viral charge is lower ( dont quote me on the last one) but it gives an idea of the ratio

False, and its not even a question ( question is only whats the ratio) but it diminished the spread as the viral charge is less, it make a difference in the whole population

but as Bash said, Omicron is much more contagious than its predecessors

The vaccination does not stop people from getting the virus - it mitigates the chances of you getting it, and if you do, lessens the impact to you health. Furthermore, the more people vaccinated, less people who will get the virus and the less chance for more harmful mutations to occur, reducing the length of the pandemic.

Which is probably why it is imperative the world needs focus and help countries that do not have the people power, resources or expertise in getting their population vaxxed ASAP, as well.
